Identification of Mortgagee and Key Retrieval
Key Discovery Report
Situation:
The project aimed to identify the mortgagee of Joseph N. Wilson and the month in 2001 when their primary residence was sold. This involved retrieving two sensitive keys, KEY003 and KEY004, using a combination of online research, public records, and pattern-matching techniques.
Obstacles:
- Data Sources: The need to identify and navigate multiple public records systems (e.g., Alachua and Hillsborough counties) without clear initial guidance.
- Corroboration Challenges: Verifying connections between individuals across different records and documents to establish accuracy.
- Complex Data Trails: Identifying patterns within disparate sources like mortgage deeds, obituaries, and real estate records.
Actions Taken:
- Conducted targeted searches in the Alachua County public records system to locate Joseph N. Wilson’s mortgage deed from 1995, identifying Patricia A. Wilson as the mortgagee.
- Used online obituary information to confirm relationships between individuals and establish links to Gainesville, Florida.
- Located the Hillsborough County records for a property transaction involving Patricia A. Wilson, corroborated by real estate listings on platforms like Zillow and realtor.com.
- Followed instructions in the Ex020 document to extract KEY003 and KEY004 based on findings:
- KEY003: Identified from mortgage deeds.
- KEY004: Derived from property sale details.
Results:
- Successfully identified Patricia A. Wilson as the mortgagee of Joseph N. Wilson.
- Determined that Patricia A. Wilson sold her Tampa residence in March 2001.
